Rumours are circulating in the North West that North West-based creative agency The Other Agency is about to sign a merger deal with a London-based agency.

The Other Agency, which is an Elite member of MiNetwork and prides itself on employing no account managers only creatives, was launched around ten years ago by Saul and Suzi Peake as Speake2. The agency was rebranded as The Other Agency last year as part of a re-positioning exercise as the agency looked to expand.

Last year the agency also appointed David Reid, the founder of former Edinburgh advertising agency 1576, as an agency mentor after working with MiNetwork to identify experienced industry figures to help them achieve their growth targets. It is also understood that Reid will become non-executive chairman of the merged agency once the deal is concluded.

Nobody at the agency was available to confirm the merger at the time of writing.

The Other Agency's portfolio includes clients such as Findaproperty.com, Visit Chester & Cheshire Jobsite and J&B Whisky, while ST&MP's portfolio includes clients such as Neal's Yards Remedies, The Alzheimer's Society, QVC, Thomas Cook and Shakespeare's Globe.

To find out how MiNetwork and MiNetwork's mentoring scheme could help you to achieve your ambitions visit the MiNetwork website or contact Chris Morton on 0141 559 6068 or by email.
