Italian clothing brand Freee has announced that it will be launching its fashion lines directly into the UK for the first time.

The launch kick-started this month with Welsh rugby team the Ospreys, modeling the clothes alongside Italian models in a fashion shoot.

The Freee brand, which is already well established throughout Italy, is a youth-orientated designer brand incorporating a range of tee-shirts, dresses, and sweat shirts with an urban-chic sense of style.

Cheltenham-based PR and communications agency, Colin Higgins and Associates (CH&A), are managing the UK launch of Freee and all subsequent marketing activity, in time for summer 2011.

“We are delighted to be involved in such a high-profile campaign,” explained Natalie Wignall, associate director of public relations.

“Cheltenham is a creative centre with talent that can compete on an international scale; as with this campaign, we have demonstrated that businesses no longer feel it is necessary to go to London to have a top agency working for them.”

A range of shots were taken in a studio and on a beach in Wales and will now be used in a nationwide advertising campaign including in-store point of sale, city billboards and both fashion and trade press.
