Hard Edge Media acquisition confirmed by Southwest News Service
Scottish press agency Hard Edge Media has been acquired by Southwest News Service in Bristol.
The company which operates press agencies Northscot, CentrePress and Capital Press was acquired two months ago, with the announcement only now becoming official.
Hard Edge Media will now act as a subsidiary to its parent company.
Speaking to AllmediaScotland, Andy Young, managing director of SWNS explained that they were currently interviewing for news and photography staff to join the company as it aims to continue to build on the achievements of founder Peter Steel over the last 29 years.
Young added that no key personnel would depart, and that Stelle would remain on the Hard Edge Media board.
