Betfred.com expands portfolio with new acquisitions

Sports betting brand Betfred.com has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of online bingo brands BuckyBingo.com and sister brand BOGOFBingo.com.

MD John Haddock said the acquisition was great for Betfred.com, commenting “our intention is to continue with the Bucky brand and it will be business as usual.”

He also said that there would be plenty of investment in the brand, giving customers “a fantastic experience in the future”.

Buckingham Bingo, which operates bingo clubs in the north of England, was advised on the sale of its online operation by gaming specialist KPMG, whose corporate finance partner Neil Meredith commented: “BuckyBingo.com and BOGOFBingo.com provide an established and highly regarded online bingo offering, that is well positioned to enter its next phase of growth under the new ownership of Betfred.com.’’
