Drinks giant Coca-Cola has been announced as an official sponsor of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow.

The three-year deal will see Coca-Cola given full pouring rights across all event, conference and exhibition space at the SECC.

“The SECC is a perfect fit for our brand and we’re really looking forward to working with the SECC making sure visitors to the venue, whether there for a concert, conference or exhibition, enjoy our range of drinks,” commented regional director for Coca-Cola Enterprises, Alan Halliday.

John Sharkey, chief executive of the SECC, added: “Much like the SECC, Coca-Cola is a much loved, iconic brand. Aligning ourselves with quality brands and securing this new sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola is very much part of our vision to position Glasgow and Scotland at the forefront of the global event and entertainment industry.”

The sponsorship deal will begin from today (15 March), meaning that the venue will now offer products through out the venue such as Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Fanta, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Schweppes Abbey Well, Powerade and Relentless.
