Facebook could be set for its greatest challenge yet, MyBlab - a social media website aimed directly as Christians.

As many Christians have declared that they aim to give up social networking for Lent, a social networking site is growing in popularity, which is dedicated to offering Christians an online community to ‘Be Linked As Believers’ (BLAB).

Founded by Chris Burkhart and Wes McKinsey, the site aims to connect the Christian community, and bring together friends, bands, churches, authors, comedians, pastors, speakers, media and schools, allowing them to share music, videos, photos, status updates, blogs, event news and bulletins.

At the moment, most users seem to be based in the United States, although it does include ‘Blabbers’ from New Zealand, Nigeria and South Africa.
