Designers create posters in aid of Japanese disaster relief

Dozens of designers are doing their bit to help the Japanese disaster appeals by designing posters. Here we review some of the work which has emerged so far.

Working independently the various designers were moved to help the Japanese appeal the only way they knew how - to express the tragedy through powerful graphics. Some aimed to raise money for the appeal by selling the posters, while others simply used the imagery as a way to generate donations.
