Zane Radcliffe, co-founder and director at Newhaven is set to leave the agency to return to Northern Ireland for family reasons.

A successful author, Radcliffe is understood to be finalising the deal which will see him leave the agency he co-founded in Edinburgh alongside fellow directors Ken Dixon, Jonathan Shinton and Gareth Howells in 2002.

Radcliffe was a senior writer at The Leith Agency when he joined the breakaway, leaving with lager brand Tennent’s, which the agency continues to service to this day.

The agency would soon follow this up with a place on the Scottish Executive’s (now Government) marketing services roster, and win The Bank of Scotland’s advertising account too.

Radcliffe has is also a published author, penning titles London Irish, Big Jessie, The Killer’s Guide to Iceland.

At the time of writing, neither party was able to comment due to legalities over the deal yet to be finalised.
