Plymouth City Council is seeking a marketing services agency to help identify a appropriate sponsors and naming rights partner for The Plymouth Life Centre.

The leisure facility is set to be completed this year, including a 50m, 10 lane pool and diving facilities, which the council hopes will attract major sporting events to the region.

Also included will be a climbing zone, indoor bowls facilities and 12 multi-use sports courts for football, badminton, basketball, netball and other sports.

The council has commissioned an impression and value analysis of the new centre in order to fully realize the potential value of any naming rights and sponsorship deal, with the successful agency tasked to advise on how best to identify commercial partners.

In order to do so, a budget has been set at between £75,000 and £400,000 for a period of a year, with two further year-long extensions possible.

The deadline for submissions is 18 March.
