Samsung Mobile marketing director Batyr Bulat has left the company after only three months in the role, citing personal reasons.

Bulat was appointed as marketing director in November, reporting to Samsung UK mobile boss Simon Stanford, and was responsible for promoting the brand’s ‘smartphone for everyone’ strategy.

Samsung is currently seeking Bulat’s replacement.

Before joining Samsung Bulat was category marketing director for Unilever, where he managed Persil, Surf, Comfort, Harpic and Finish. Prior to Unilever he spent 10 years at Reckitt Benckiser, rising to global brand marketing director in the UK.
