The Royal Television Society (RTS) West of England has announced the nominees for its awards this evening.

The winners will be revealed during a ceremony and dinner at Cinema DeLuxe in Bristol’s Cabot Circus on 7th of March at 7pm.

“The awards are certainly going to make a splash this year, with nominations ranging from Skins to Natural History blockbusters,” said Denis Lomax, Chair of the RTS Bristol Centre.

“We’ve had over 130 entries in total, which is a phenomenal number, and yet still only represents a fraction of the incredibly talented cast, crew and production teams we have here in the West of England.”

The Awards seek to celebrate international excellence and quality in television production and broadcasting from across the West of England.

The red carpet event will include a Special Award that will be presented to an as yet undisclosed nominee for outstanding contribution to broadcasting.
