Renewable Energy Consultancy, SRE, has rebranded in order to give it individuality in the crowded renewable energy sector, ahead of this week’s Ecobuild conference and exhibition in London.

The company’s previous branding was developed five years ago and no longer represented its brand values.

The new brand was developed by Bristol-based design consultancy, Matthew Fairweather, who were able to turn around the rebrand in just two weeks.

“SRE were exhibiting at Ecobuild with a partner company and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to showcase themselves as a serious contender in the sector by portraying the best aspects of their business,” explained Matthew Fairweather’s Pete Norris.

“They understood that their previous branding and website appeared generic in what is currently a very crowded market.

“They wanted to carve a niche for themselves by having a unique mark and clean-cut, minimalistic look that could give them the edge over their competition.”

The new brand and logo aimed to portray the company’s brand values, which include dynamic, forward-thinking credible and professional. A new website, leaflet, brochure, business stationery and promotional exhibition movie were produced to complement the brand and logo.

SRE are a well know authority on renewable energy and advise clients from architects through to the Buildings Research Establishment (BRE).

“We’re really pleased to have worked with a professional service company within the renewables sector and to have been able to provide them with individuality within a busy sector,” said Norris.
