Mashable, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Playboy, McDonalds, The Drum signed for iStrategy conference

The Drum has been signed up as a media partner for iStrategy – a series of global, two-day, digital media conferences featuring speakers from Mashable, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Motorola, Playboy and McDonalds.

iStrategy has recruited top speakers in every region and planned new interactive workshops including some of the biggest names in digital.

The first conference in San Francisco includes senior digital media and marketing heads from the likes of Microsoft (senior director Worldwide digital market), Motorola (senior director, integrated marketing), Intel (senior social media strategist), Heineken (VP trade marketing & sales strategy), McDonalds (director of social media), and Time Inc (President, Digital).

The following European event has speakers including the head of web marketing at BMW AG; MD - Netherlands of LinkedIn; managing director, new digital Ventures at Playboy; the general manager of Foursquare; and Mashable's chief technical officer.

The "inspirational" conference is aimed at senior executives who believe that the success of their business requires a sound digital strategy.

iStrategy is held bi-annually at each of four regional event locations in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Singapore.

The iStrategy Conference was created by a team of passionate online media folks in Bristol, UK in 2009. After years of experimenting in the constantly evolving digital space, they decided to convene like-minded people in an effort to share knowledge and experiences and to inspire continued exploration of digital media channels. Since the initial conference in Berlin, iStrategy has expanded into four bi-annual, regional events in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Any description of the iStrategy Conference would be incomplete without mention of Adam Burns, iStrategy's witty and engaging emcee. He is currently Senior Editor for iStrategy's sister site, www.MeetTheBoss.tv where his interviews of global business leaders have received much acclaim.

iStrategy's mission is to spread passion for existing and emerging digital media throughout the world. The goal for each event is to create an original experiential learning opportunity for participants that will have lasting impact on their digital strategies - at least until the next season's gathering!
