Mercedez-Benz named as top Superbrand for 2011
Automotive manufacturer Mercedez-Benz has been named as the top consumer superbrand for 2011.
The annual list by Superbrands, which looks at the strongest brands in the UK, has named Mercedez-Benz as top of its list of 500, with Rolex finishing second on the list, followed by the BBC.
The rest of the top ten was rounded up by Coca-cola, Microsoft, BMW, British Airways, Apple and Jaguar, respectively.
The process was completed following a long-list of superbrands being compiled, which were then determined by a national vote of over 2,000 British adults. The entire process was independently administrated by The Centre for Brand Analyses.
