British-born photographer and publisher Steve Shaw has launched a new magazine in Hollywood, just in time for the Oscars.

However, unlike the beautiful expensively dressed women set to walk the red carpet on Sunday, the women in treats! magazine are naked. The mag is described by Shaw as a "European-inspired multimedia platform that merges high fashion, sensuality and the ultimate in lifestyle luxury publishing" A total of 125 guests, including A-list celebrities and Oscar nominees attended the launch party on Thursday. They included Oscar nominees Kevin Spacey, Dana Brunetti (producer, “The Social Network”), actor Jason Statham , British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Donna Karan, Lawrence Bender, Olivier Martinez and Ryan Seacrest. Rosie is the next issue's cover girl. Shaw says, “I was inspired to create a publication in the U.S that celebrates the beauty of women as nature made them, without the demeaning harshness of how other mainstream outlets have portrayed them." The print run is 5000 on 70 lb. matte stock. Available for $20 at select newsstands and by subscription($65 for four issues per year), treats! is also available electronically via digital publisher Zinio. The "premiere issue" is an ad-free collector’s edition—"just gorgeous mesmerising images,”says Shaw. The editor is Rob Hill, formerly editor of Hollywood Life magazine. Articles feature actor Jason Statham; contemporary artist Shepard Fairey ; and Hollywood’s party history. Shaw says the magazine can be left on a coffee table with pride. "It is a fine art book that is also a collector’s item.”
