The BBC is on the hunt for a new director of BBC Vision, following the departure of Jana Bennett.

The organisation has advertised the post to replace Bennett, who has been appointed BBC Worldwide’s president of worldwide networks and global iPlayer.

The advert says that the corporation is seeking ‘a prominent ambassador’ who will have ‘credibility with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders’.

Just last week, BBC Vision announced that it was set to cut 47 factual jobs from the factual department’s Bristol and Birmingham bases.
