Trades Supermarket packs a Punch with PR appointment

Trades Supermarket, the shopping comparison website for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts fronted Tommy Walsh, has appointed Punch Communications to handle its PR.

As part of the campaign activity the Leicestershire agency will officially launch the site to the construction and DIY trade media, national dailies and consumer titles and influential bloggers.

A SEO campaign will run simultaneous to PR activity, while Punch also manages the brand’s social media.

Trades Supermarket director Steven Kemp said of the appointment: “When looking for an agency we wanted to appoint a team who not only had a good understanding of ecommerce, Online PR and SEO, but one that could act as an extension of our team. With Punch we have found that invaluable mix of expertise and personality.”
