Kepak Convenience Foods is backing the UK’s most successful hot snacking product launch with its first national TV advertising campaign.
Rustlers Hot Subs, which achieved sales of more than £10m in their first year, will feature in a national TV campaign from 1 March, with Kepak MD John Armstrong saying TV support will accelerate demand for the product range.
Armstrong said: “Rustlers Hot Subs have taken the hot snacking category by storm in the last 12 months and we are extremely confident that the high profile, national TV campaign will ensure the Rustlers sub-brand maintains its momentum.”
The campaign will run across terrestrial and satellite channels, featuring around Champions League and major football matches plus music programmes, comedy and films. The campaign will also run online from March until early June.
Continuing on from the ‘One Finger Food’ theme featured in the Rustlers TV adverts, the new ad, titled ‘Wide Load’, highlights how easy it is to cook a Rustlers Hot Sub without being distracted from hobbies such as gaming by showing the finger navigating a remote controlled truck to deliver a Rustlers Hot Sub.
