YouTube partners with RightsFlow on music rights management
YouTube has signed a deal with RightsFlow which will see the online video portal utilise the music rights managers’ expertise in administering publishers.
The agreement will see RightsFlow assist in processing and managing music rights, potentially streamlining the administration process and obtaining licenses from songwriters and publishers to boost YouTube’s coffers..
RightsFlow specialise in rapid song identification and obtaining download rights for physical, DPD and ringtone licenses.
The company currently provides licensing for 12,000 clients and controls a database of 23m songs.
