Fancy being a cover star? If you are a talented photographer you could get your work on the cover of the Drum...

Every fortnight The Drum features on its front cover some of the freshest photographic talent in the UK.

Over the years the magazine’s front cover has become a vehicle for showcasing creativity in the industry and nurturing its growth.

This issue’s cover star is Eilidh Grant whose cattle market shots caught our editorial team’s eye.

Eilidh Grant is from Oban on the west coast of Scotland. She studied at Glasgow Metropolitan College and graduated with a PDA in Photography in 2010. Eilidh was awarded the PDA Photography Prize for her year. The nature of Eilidh's photography consists of the skill in seeing the potential in everyday things, which others overlook, through abstraction, shape and keen observation. She is intrigued by the architecture of buildings and enjoys documenting the space within, whether it is in use or empty. Eilidh was a finalist in the The Julia Margaret Cameron Award 2010 for women photographers.

If you would like the chance to have your work featured on The Drum’s front cover then get in touch with Gordon Laing at gordon.laing@carnyx.com.

And, if you like to get in touch with Eilidh or see more of her work then she can be contacted on +44 7748 115 676 or at eilidh.grant@hotmail.co.uk.
