Manchester agency I-COM has created a social media campaign for online fashion retailer I Love 2 Love.

The campaign involves giving away hundreds of Valentine's Day treats, including scented candles, bath bombs and sweets, to online shoppers. Five of them will win "extra special surprise gifts".

I-COM is using the retailer's Facebook, Twitter and blog pages to spread the word about the giveaway and encourage customers to visit I Love 2 Love's main site.

Tim Roberts, managing director of I-COM, said: "Social media and search have become inextricably linked to the point that, thanks to campaigns like the current Valentine’s Day promotion, Facebook has become one of the biggest referring sites for I Love 2 Love and its importance is just going to keep on growing.”

I-COM, which employs 30 people in Manchester, also handled I Love 2 Love's search engine optimisation.
