The City of Liverpool’s ‘embassy’ office in London is to be promoted by Kenyon Fraser, in an effort to change the perception of the city, by those living outside of it.

Kenyon Fraser will work with the office, opened by Liverpool City Council last month, to overturn poor perceptions of the city.

Kenyon Fraser's managing director Richard Kenyon said: "This is a vital and exciting project which could affect the future of our city as a whole.”

He added that as well as changing perceptions of Liverpool, they would also try to encourage people to take a serious interest in the city as a business destination.

“Working with Liverpool Vision [the city's economic development arm] we hope to help make the embassy a success and bring more investment into Liverpool,” he added.

Company’s from around Liverpool have been asked by the Council to contribute £1,000 to help fund the embassy, and in return they will be allowed to use the London facilities when necessary, as well as featuring on its website, and receiving an invite to an investor conference in May.
