Northern Rock has selected the Tangible Group, including Farm Communications, as well as redtag as its creative agencies, following a comprehensive review.

The agency will be tasked with supporting the developing of the Northern Rock brand strategy, its product campaigns and creative style, while also producing marketing and promotional materials.

Guy Herrington, head of marketing channels and communications at Northern Rock said: “We are looking forward to working with our new partners, redtag and Tangible, as we develop our campaign agenda and deliver our plans for 2011 and beyond.”

Avril Ellis managing partner of Tangible, added: “We're delighted to be working together to celebrate Northern Rock’s strengths and in particular, focusing on the customer-centric approach to everything it does.”

Meanwhile, Paul Handford, executive director of redtag, commented: “We are very excited to be appointed to support Northern Rock in the next chapter of its history. This has capped a fantastic period of growth for us as an agency and we are looking forward to the challenges ahead.”

Cravens was the incumbent on the creative account for North Rock, and is understood to have pitched to retain the business as part of a three-way-pitch.

MediaVest Manchester was retained by Northern Rock to its £2m media planning and buying agency in September.
