A two-day conference to be held in Gateshead will include speakers from Dyson, Aston Martin, Proctor & Gamble, Nissan and Hasbro, discussing different trends around the role of design.

Design Means Business, organised by Design Network North, with support by The Design Council and business services from RTC North, will offer an opportunity to hear from multinational companies and design agencies across a range of masterclasses and workshops.

Mike Dowson is project director at Design Network North, commented:  “Both days of the conference are applicable to most businesses, but particularly those interested in learning more about how new product and service development, innovation, branding and communication design will improve their competitiveness and performance.”

The two-day event will take place at The Sage over 15 and 16 March.
