Plastic Card Services appoints Souter PR for awareness growth campaign

Macclesfield manufacturing plant Plastic Card Services (PCS) has appointed Souter PR as its PR agency with the aim of growing awareness of the company.

The company, which produces commercial cards and services, has invested over £2 million in developing sustainable print services, and has developed a plastic loyalty card that uses green materials and processes for retailer Coop Danmark.

The plant has tasked Souter PR with developing a campaign that will raises awareness of its services across existing and new commercial marketing, while also building its profile across business and national media.

The agency will also look to hightlight the new green service from PCS, which aims to convert 50% of its business to bio in the next five years, in line with the requirements of businesses with a sustainability agenda.

Sue Souter commented: “PCS is a real gem of a manufacturing business, with a great client base and a real drive to invest in and improve the industry. Their commitment to producing biodegradable ‘plastic’ cards has already proved a great success and we’re looking forward to supporting them to build awareness of their 21st century range of services.”
