Producer Healy leaves Cask to join Short Films
Daniel Healy, former head of production for stv’s Lucid and executive producer at Cask Productions has returned to his native London to work at Short Films, where he will continue to produce for director Jon Greenhalgh.
Healy moved to Scotland in 2006 to head up stv’s production arm Lucid, which it closed three years later, which saw him move to Glasgow production company Cask.
He has now chosen to join the London production company alongside Greenhalgh, who has recently directed the 2010 TV campaign for Staples, as well as producing for the company’s other directors including Stephen Mead who has worked on many beauty campaigns, most recently L’Oreal with Cheryl Cole, and is in post production on the latest Innocent drinks campaign.
Also at Short is Paul Williams, best known for his feature London to Brighton, Williams has also worked on brands such as Halifax & Domestic Violence. Oscar Cariss is also at Short Films, who for the last 15 years has been creative director at ITV on its sponsorship & ident work.
Healy said that he returned to London in the hope that he would still work with some of the agencies that he had worked alongside while in Scotland.
