Dave Evans has left his role as head of development at Birmingham agency Made Media to become head of digital at Bedfordshire-based Clarity.

Evans' move comes almost a year and a half after he sold his agency Fireloop Creative to Made Media in August 2009.

He said his remit at Clarity, which was formed six years ago by former BMB (Luton) duo Chris Morris and Jeremy Harvey, is to "take its digital offering to the next level".

The Woburn agency has worked on brand projects for clients including Mercedes Benz, TGI Friday's and Premier Inn, for which it created its identity and proposition.

Evans said: "The head of digital role for Clarity positions me as a strategic member of the management team here, and my objective is to take the business to the next level through a strengthened digital offering.

"What attracted me to the role was the scope and multi-faceted nature of the position, and that Clarity is an agency very much grounded in the same philosophy I had behind Fireloop: that aligning creative with a quality strategic idea generates the best results."
