The latest update of Google’s Goggles app is taking image recognition to a new level after the company revealed that the software can now crack your morning Sudoku puzzle.

In addition to the head twisting numbers game the smart software can also accurately identify images of landmark buildings and even put price comparison websites in the shade by reading adverts and correlating prices across the web for the best deal.

Fortunately iPhones won’t be entirely relegating their owners to useless add on’s just yet, the software simply transmits still images to the company’s servers where Google’s specialty in search is used to compare and find appropriate matches.

Depending on the speed of your internet connection these results can be received near instantaneously.
