Coach operator National Express has tasked Lollipop PR to help increase consumer awareness of the business.

Working alongside the in-house marketing team and its head of media Joy Williams, the Manchester PR agency will develop integrated media relations plans and campaign with a focus on the people and places that make up the core business.

Joy Williams, commented: “We are a big business with a wealth of news and events happening every day. What we’re delighted to have found in Lollipop PR is a partner who can fit straight into our team and work with us to seek out and communicate those great stories that underline our position as one of the country’s most trusted travel companies.”

Emma Beck, mamnaging director of Lollipop PR, added: “I’m enormously proud to be working with such a great British brand. National Express has been at the heart of the country’s holiday heritage for more than 50 years and we’ll be communicating the new and very 21st century National Express experience to a wide range of audiences.”

One of the tasks facing Peppermint PR will be National Express’s activity surrounding the Royal Wedding in April, as it aims to drive business across the UK with more people expected to travel due to the occasion.
