Drayton Manor, the midlands theme park, has tasked LHM to develop an eCommerce site.

The Birmingham agency has been briefed to create the site with a view to it launching in early 2011 and help the part captalise on the success that it has enjoyed since launching Thomas Land in 2008, based on children’s series Thomas the Tank Engine.

Meanwhile, LHM has also moved to a new location within the city, while it is also in the midst of a recruitment drive, growing its current staff numbers from 11, while also increasing its turnover by 47 per cent.

Paul McMonagle, operations director and co-founder of LHM, commented: “LHM is a passionate and proactive agency, which has inevitably led to the need to expand to service all of our clients, plus pursue potential new business. We’ve recently appointed three new members of staff; Kevin Patel, who joins the business as an art director, Liz Hemes, account director, and Pete Trickey, developer. Both Kevin and Liz joined the business from KLM, while Pete’s last role was at LMM.“

The business plans to continue recruiting to enhance its new business department, as well as seeking senior account managers and a communications manager with an extensive understanding of social media and SEO.
