Stella English, a 31 year old from south east London has emerged as Lord Sugar’s latest Apprentice after Sugar toasted the blonde’s “Urbon Bourbon” confection in the shows final challenge.

English went head to head with Chris Bates in the finale as the pair scrabbled to launch competing alcoholic beverages before an invited audience of industry big wigs.

Launching the spicy drink English said: “Take a look at the bottle. The Urbon bottle design is slim and chic, it’s the new way of drinking bourbon.”

Critics derided the bottles appearance however, noting an unfortunate resemblance to balsamic vinegar bottles and turning their noses up at the drinks pungent flavour.

Bates meanwhile opted for a premium white rum based drink called Prism, informing his audience: “Prism really does reflect every side of you.” Describing his concoction as a “vibrant and exotic pomegranate and spice mix from the Carribean” Bates thrilled at his bottles “iconic” pyramidal form.

Sugar was left with a sour taste in his mouth by “Prismo” however, noting that the drink’s pinkish aura would off put male drinkers.

In the end English won it on the back of a strong showing throughout the series run, but expect to see “Urbon” lining bins, not Oddbins.
