Robson Brown administrators Zolfo Cooper have confirmed rumours that the some of the agency’s assets have been purchased by ThinkBDW.

ThinkBDW, a subsidiary of Mission Marketing Group, has bought the name and intellectual property rights to Robson Brown, meaning that the intended resurrection led by the former directors of the company following its liquidation cannot take place.

Kevin Coates, director of Zolfo Cooper, explained: “After discussions with a number of parties we are pleased to announce that we have been able to secure the sale of some of Robson Brown’s assets. We wish Think BDW Limited every success in their future endeavors. We would also like to thank the employees and directors for their continued professionalism and help during this exceptionally difficult time.”

Last week, former directors Andrew Marwick, Tom Hedley and Duncan McEwan made the announcement that they were set to resurrect the agency with all division directors, a statement which was refuted by Zolfo Cooper.

ThinkBDW is part of the Think Media Group, owned by Mission Marketing Group.
