Model Katie Price has written to her lawyers in response to a sexual slur made against her son Harvey on Channel 4’s Frankie Boyle vehicle, Tramadol Nights.

Boyle, a former Mock the week star, took to the airwaves on Tuesday to say: “Jordan and Peter Andre are still fighting each other over custody of Harvey - eventually one of them will lose and have to keep him.”

Boyle then added: “I have a theory about the reason Jordan married a cage fighter - she needed a man strong enough to stop Harvey from f****** her...”

Jordan had set a 5pm deadline for an apology from channel 4 for broadcasting the “vicious” comments but the broadcaster refused to comply, prompting an official complaint to Ofcom.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: “The joke aired in the context of a late night comedy show. The joke itself has been performed by Frankie as part of his stage show and, as with much of his material, is an absurdist and satirical comment on high profile individuals whose lives have been played out in the media.”
