Premier Foods re-jigs marketing team

Premier Foods, owner of the Hovis and Loyd Grossman brands, has appointed Jon Goldstone to the newly established position of group marketing director in a bid to accelerate the growth of its brands.

It comes as part of a senior management overhaul at the firm with Tim Kelly brought in to serve as the group’s first chief operating officer, a position which entails overseeing all brand and commercial operations within the grocery division.

Premier Foods state that corporate restructuring is needed to build their brand, foster innovation and increase marketing investment.

Kelly and Goldstone will both report to Premier Foods CEO, Robert Schofield.
