Adrian Gill, digital director of TDA has been promoted to the role of managing partner at TDA.

Gill, who joined the agency in 2009 following its acquisition of his own agency V2i, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and tasked with ensuring that it offers a ‘truly integrated’ approach.

Alongside digital planning, he will also be responsible for employee engagement and innovation.

As a result of the appointment, Heather Westgate, the agency’s former managing director, will become chief executive with a focus on business development.

Westgate explained: “It’s becoming increasingly apparent that digital expertise is a pre-requisite for a marketing agency to deliver ROI. It’s no longer relevant to work purely online or offline; it’s about applying the best combination of channels in order to shape the customer journey with maximum effect. Adrian’s new role demonstrates the importance of our digital capability and its role, alongside our very strong management team, in growing the business.”

Gill added “TDA is continuing to grow in what has been a very difficult market. We’ve seamlessly synchronised two agencies into one, and our fully integrated approach has made a massive difference to our performance, not just for our existing clients, but also through a series of recent new business wins, most recently from Lloydspharmacy.”

Meanwhile, Corinne LeLoup has joined as senior account director and Elisabeth Anthony has joined as account director, while Philip Holloway has been recruited as a digital planner, Matt Dobie and Liam Coates have joined the digital interactive design team, and Donna Woodcock has been recruited to the studio design team. Student Jade Meadows, is also working with the agency on placement.
