WPP adds 'significant investment' to Lord Mandelson consultancy
WPP is to back Global Counsel LLP, an international consultancy which is expected to be chaired by former business secretary, Lord Peter Mandelson.
The company, run by Ben Wegg-Prosser, according to Sky News, has secured ‘significant investment’ from WPP Group.
The consultancy will offer advice multinational companies and is registered through Company’s House at WPP’s headquarters in London.
Sir Martin Sorrell, chief executive of WPP is a member of the Government’s Business Advisory Group, having been appointed by Prime Minister David Cameron.
