Manchester Art Gallery is working with The Marketing Clinic to raise the profile of its corporate members and patrons schemes among the local business community.

Richard Lynch, managing director at The Marketing Clinic, said the Manchester firm's campaigns will "spotlight the incredible generosity by people who not only have a passion for art, but also understand the tremendous commercial benefits that patronage can bring".

Val Young, the gallery's head of development, said: "Our continued success is only possible with the generous support of local businesses and individuals, but we need to encourage more people to get involved so that schools, local people and visitors continue to enjoy and be inspired by our award-winning collections and exhibitions."

The Marketing Clinic was launched in September by Richard Lynch, previously of Paver Smith, and Elaine Willcox, the former northern correspondent at GMTV.
