A round up of some of the media and marketing stories making the Sunday.

As Royal Wedding fever is set to grip the nation, and the media continues to treat it as though it were more important an event than Armistice Day, the Sunday Mirror reports that media darling David Beckham will attend the wedding with wife Victoria.

The Sunday Telepgraoh says that the Government is awaiting online whistle blowing website Wikileaks to reveal sensitive and ‘potentially embarrassing’ documents about the Coalition this week.

High street brands including Marks & Spencers, Tesco, Debenhams, Currys, Argos and House of Fraser are set to offer half price discounts ahead of Christmas. According to the Sunday Express, Richard Dodd of the British Retail Consortium believes that the discount are due to the ‘difficult situation’ facing retailers.

Disney has announced that its new animated cartoon ‘Tangled’, based on the tale of Rapunzel, will be the last to feature a princess. The Sunday Express says that executives at the legendary Hollywood studio have decided that this will be its final fairytale feature.

Scotland on Sunday carries a story featuring Dragon’s Den online ‘Dragon’ Shaf Rasul who is set to launch a discount chain, having teamed up with Duncan Sutherland, the former chief executive of Moss Bros. The first branch of BigOffers is set to open in Edinburgh next month.
