Fashion brand Drunknmunky has launched its first online store which has been built by Bournemouth agency Strange.

The 'urban' clothing brand is targeted at men and women aged 16-25 and it hopes the new site will increase sales.

Strange's site design reflects Drunkmunky's links with kung-fu (its brand name is taken from an ancient fighting style) and its association with the underground music scene.

Drunknmunky has already been running an online marketing campaign, created by Strange, to drive people to its brand website and build a customer database.

Now its e-commerce site is live this campaign will expand to include paid search activity and a social media strategy in a bid to maximise sales during the crucial Christmas trading period.

Dave Shanks, managing director at Drunknumky, said: "We recognise that our customer base is choosing to shop more online. This launch sees us increasing our online business, digital presence and international reach, a key objective for us this year.

"We selected Strange, and developed our digital partnership with them, following the successful launch and performance of our branding website earlier this year."
