Thomson Local launches data site with Storm ID

Thomson Local has launched a new business data website built with the help of Edinburgh agency Storm ID.

The site allows businesses to select and buy Thomson Local's business data for use on direct mail and telemarketing campaigns.

To raise awareness of the new site Storm has handled a search engine optimisation campaign focusing on popular search terms for business data sales.

The agency said its work so far was the first stage in a larger programme of technical development for Thomson Local.

Paul Cross, head of retail and marketing at Thomson Local, said: " This first stage of development offers a user friendly experience to buying our business data and we look forward to working with Storm in the next phases of the programme."
