Birmingham agency 383 Project has launched new websites for Midlands radio stations BRMB, Beacon, Wyvern and Mercia.

The new sites arrive after "several months of work", during which the stations have undergone extensive rebranding.

383 picked up the digital business following a six-way pitch held by station owners Orion Media earlier this year.

The agency will now continue to work on eCRM, social strategy and "digital engagement" with the stations' audiences and advertisers.

For techies interested in what is under the bonnet, the sites feature third party APIs for news, traffic, weather, YouTube and Flickr, a bespoke user system and a custom HTML5 streaming media player.

Visitors can listen again to radio from the last seven days and the sites are integrated with Facebook and Twitter to encourage audience participation.
