A new brand has been unveiled for Ayrshire & Arran, designed by Ocean Agency.

The brand launch involved Scottish Enterprise, VisitScotland and Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, with the project beginning in November with a tender being won up by Ocean.

The new brand will be used for the marketing and investment in Ayrshire & Arran.

Martin Cheyne, chief executive of Ayrshire Chamber said: “We are glad to see the combination of consultation and hard work coming to fruition. It has long been discussed that a recognisable umbrella to ensure Ayrshire & Arran is portrayed as an ideal destination for work, life, investment and play is a requirement. Today sees the start of a new look Ayrshire & Arran.

“Whether you are a manufacturer, or a service provider, we want you to use this brand. One could envision every product made in Ayrshire carrying this brand, every service provided carrying the brand, every hotel, restaurant, B&B, every leisure facility - indeed a limitless opportunity for organisations to adopt a cohesive and uniquely identifiable brand for Ayrshire & Arran.
