Axis brings Spider-Man to life for Activision
Axis has worked with games publisher Activision and Marvel to create a short promotional film for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.
Spider-Man is back with four different worlds from across the history of the Marvel Universe in the new game.
Axis director Wiek Luijken brought the distinct looks of Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to life, re-creating the humour and style of the original comic books.
Luijken has alos directed a “simple yet effective” teaser for Microsoft Flight, working with US agency Ayzenberg on the project.
Ocean tools developed for Axis’s Pirates of the Caribbean work were in use again on this project and attention was paid to getting the plane animation 100% accurate.
