A new £3m TV advertising campaign for hair styling product brand ghd is set to roll out, promoting its new Midnight Collection, the biggest campaign launched by the brand.

The campaign, created by RKCR/Y&R, features the new gold hair straighter from ghd in TV, outdoor, press and online activity.

The full 60 second ad will broadcast on TV Saturday 23 October during The X Factor, and brings the fairytale of Cinderella to life.

Three different TV executives have been created with Facebook takeovers planned as well as outdoor activity.

Mike Cohen, ghd chief marketing officer, says, “The Cinderella creative - which turns another conventional fairytale on its head and demonstrates perfectly how ghd confidence can help women everywhere to become the “Belles of the ball” this Christmas.”
