Having headed up a range of community programmes such as Manchester Masters and Creative Break, Tangerine Group has launched a new offer for public sector organisations, in a bid to fill a gap left by yesterdays spending review.

Tangerine Outsource aims to be a self-managing offer for public sector organisations who’s communications teams will be cut by the Government’s spending cuts which are likely to result in around half-a-million jobs being lost within the public sector.

“While this move may be necessary and understandable, to meet the costs savings demanded in the CSR, it could have dire consequences for these organisations and the communities they serve,” explained Group MD, Sandy Lindsay (pictured).

“Tangerine has a proven track record of delivering self-managed programmes to agreed targets and budgets within the public sector and we find this type of work extremely rewarding. We would therefore like to speak with other public sector organisations which are likely to see their in-house support in this area reduced in order to explore ways to continue communicating with vital audiences.”

The company has sent a mailer to CEOs and marketing/communications heads in public sector organisations across the UK.
