The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has welcomed some of the announcements made by Chancellor George Osborne during the Government’s spending review yesterday.

A statement from the DMA, said: “Growth and economic recovery will be led by the private sector and our members will welcome the Chancellor’s announcements on investment in transport and infrastructure, the low-carbon economy, universal broadband, education and skills. It is essential to rebuild consumer confidence and businesses need certainty to make their own investment plans: the Chancellor's statement is a welcome start to this process and we will study the detailed expenditure plans with interest as these are published in the weeks ahead.”
