‘Red’ Ed to signal New Labour is dead

Ed Miliband has distanced himself from his immediate predecessors in the role of Labour party leader by using his first big speech as party leader to claim he understands the “anger” of the public surrounding City excess and false claims to have ended “boom and bust” economics.

But did Miliband’s speech prove a boon to his faltering first few days, or was it a bust? The Drum invited leading PR experts to share their verdict on the performance.
