Comedian Peter Kay is back for the latest TV ad from beer brand John Smith's
The new ad was first revealed on the beer brand's website, which features all of the latest TV ads devised by TBWA\London and a behind the scenes look at the ads being made, including out takes.
Kay returned as the face of John Smiths at the John Smiths Grand National earlier this year after a five year lay off. Speaking at the time Gareth Turner, senior brand manager for John Smiths, said: "We are living through some of the toughest times that anyone can remember and there has never been a better time to champion a return to the values of 'no nonsense' straight-talking and we know Peter Kay is the perfect man for the job."
When Kay was dropped as the face of John Smiths in 2005 there was a public campaign to bring him back after his no nonsense ads had introduced sayings such as "ave it"and "top bombing" to the public's lexicon.

It's ok, but it's no 'top bombing'.
Have to agree with the comments so far.
Anyone who uses the words "Me thinks it would be better if..." has to be a suit.
Just my humble opinion of course.
Pales in comparison with the originals.
Who cares if it's not as good as top bombing. It made me laugh, that's all I'm worried about.
I thought the dog was going to bring back the trophy which would be straight to the point and no-nonsense wouldn't it? I didn't get the paper or whatever it was.
I like it, simple and everybody gets it.
"Lovely, lovely Bitch" best ad line on TV at the moment.
It made me chuckle. More of a hehe than a HAHAHA, so yes, not up to 'Top Bombing' standards but that's a very difficult act to follow. And give the dog his dues, he did knock over one of the obstacles.
Dog should have brought him a can of John Smiths?
