Money Shop sports portfolio handled by Bell Pottinger

The Money Shop has appointed Leeds PR agency Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger to manage its sports portfolio.

Working closely with Andrew Bryan, marketing director at The Money Shop, the Bell Pottinger group agency will be responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement and advocacy via media relations, social media and experiential campaigns.

The Money Shop's support of sport currently includes official sponsorship of Ronnie O'Sullivan, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest and the Airwaves BMW British Touring Car Championship team.

Bryan (pictured left with O'Sullivan) said of the appointment: "Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger's sports marketing division has enormous experience of delivering first class results for its clients. The Money Shop's sporting assets have grown quickly and it's crucial that we maximise these to help us achieve our wider business objectives."

Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger is also the retained agency for The Money Shop's consumer and corporate PR.
