Leicester-based Standout UK has launched the first direct online store for household lingerie brand, Triumph International.

The agency, based in Desford Hall, Leicester has created a dedicated online shop which will see Triumph International sell its entire range of lingerie, featuring its latest collections, direct to consumers in the UK.

It is the first time the lingerie retailer has used the internet to sell its products. The latest website is being seen as an integral part of the company’s online portfolio and digital marketing strategy for 2010.

Dan Barber, managing director of Standout UK, said: “This website has been designed and created to complement the digital strategy for the brand and the overall marketing plan going forward.

“Our brief was to create a simple solution which would showcase the Triumph International product range in an effective way and would be easy to navigate.

"The user-friendly website gives customers a shopping experience online in keeping with the brand objectives and we are delighted with the results.”

The website features Louise Redknapp, the face of Triumph International, modelling the latest range of products. It is hoped the easy navigation and usability alongside the new features on the site will help drive its online business.

Traffic to the website is being driven via a number of solutions including email marketing along with social media marketing such as Facebook and Twitter.

In March, Standout designed and launched luxury chocolate-maker Lindt’s first digital promotion in the UK, which included a microsite and an e-mail campaign.

It also launched a new interactive website to promote Snack-a-Jacks latest marketing campaign for 2010 as part of a push to appeal to fashion-savvy female consumers.
